Office Hours:

Each therapist keeps their own hours and schedule.  Generally  at least one of the therapists will be able to accomdate most people's schedule.

Important Information about our services:

Hitchcock Counseling and Stewart Counseling are two seperate businesses.  Although we share office space and other resources such as phone and website,  each of us are individual therapists who maintatin our own records, malpractice insurance, and licensure.  We do not share your confidential information with each other unless you sign a release or request verbally that we do so.  If you contact us via the website we will share that information so that a therapist can get back to you as soon as possible and schedule you as soon as feasable. If you prefer a specific therapist please call our office and enter the extension for the therapist that you wish to contact. 

Rates:

Each therapist has our own fee range.  Generally each us has a sliding scale for those who do not wish to use their insurance or do not have insurance. Please call for further informatin because there are many variables that will determine your fee for services. Thank you!

Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician

After you schedule and appointment with me, you may contact my office at 224-2286  to discuss insurance verification. We will need a copy of your insurance card to help you.  By doing this prior to your first session we can all have an idea of what your payment will need to be.

Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. Please talk to your therapist if you need to negotiate a lower fee due to hardship. 

Payment
Cash and checks are accepted.  Hitchcock Counseling does accept credit cards. Please verify when calling if you hope to use a credit card.

Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
